Project Manager (Mobile Complete - DeviceAnywhere)

?????? Post-sales support tools to better support existing customers and their purchased products

?????? Ongoing monitoring and testing tools to ensure applications continue to perform throughout the life-cycle



Mobile Complete's unique solution is device, OS, platform, and application agnostic, making it capable of supporting all applications on all handsets from all manufacturers, running on any operating system, platform, and network.



The Mobile Complete product is sold as both a HW/SW solution (Mobile Complete Enterprise), and as a subscription service called DeviceAnywhere. DeviceAnywhere currently supports 400+ handsets across 10 global carriers covering over a dozen device manufacturers, and has several hundred customers. Over the next year this service will be expanded to support every handset on every major carrier around the world, which means there will soon be over a thousand handsets deployed.



We are seeking a highly qualified Project Manager to manage the DeviceAnywhere service. This individual would report directly to the VP of Product Management, and be responsible for ensuring the continued growth and success of the DeviceAnywhere service. This position is located in our San Mateo, CA office.



Responsibilities:

?????? Prioritize devices for purchase, production and deployment

?????? Project manage new location deployments

?????? Meet w/ DA support team every week; determine list of hot items and prioritize; track that they get addressed

?????? Track system metrics (uptime, phones working, ability to keep up w/ new devices, usage)

?????? Project manage getting new packages deployed (few devices across many carriers)

?????? Ensure that the device roadmap is kept up to date, and effectively communicated to external and internal customers

?????? Project manage the building of a device features database

?????? Work with / manage offshore resources and other local teams to aid in accomplishing tasks





Requirements

?????? BS/BA in business related or technical degree

?????? 3+ Years as a Project Manager for Enterprise Software, Mobile Content, or Wireless Devices or related products

?????? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

?????? Excellent organizational skills

?????? Understanding of technical project management best practices

?????? Excellent cross-functional management skills

?????? Team player/ability to work in start-up mode with a dynamic team



Additionally Desired Skills:

?????? Knowledge of mobile industry, including handsets, network technologies, mobile content technologies (e.g. WAP/J2ME/BREW), mobile operating systems

?????? Technical background is ideal
