Small IP boutique firm is seeking an experienced partner-track associate to add value to its complex litigation practice. The firm seeks someone who:



1. Can assist in pre-trial and trial practice, including depositions, complex discovery and motion practice

2. Manage multiple cases and multiple clients in a busy, collegial and fun work environment

3. Assist the firm in other civil litigation practice areas including general business litigation

4. Participate in training of paralegals and legal assistants including regular educational meetings (the firm is a State Bar approved CLE provider)

5. Is actively interested in computer software and technology licensing and other IP strategy work



Preferred candidates have:

1. 2-4 years of complex litigation experience, including depositions and court appearances, and ideally trial experience

2. Excellent academic credentials

3. Strong interest in intellectual property, preferably with patent litigation experience

4. Educational or work background in technology or science

5. Extensive computer use and administration experience
