Sr Property Accountant



Mid-Peninsula Housing is a non-profit organization that develops high-quality affordable housing communities, professionally manages the properties in those communities, and provides services to residents. Our three affiliated corporations are Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition, Mid-Peninsula Housing Management Corporation and Mid-Peninsula Housing Services Corporation. Mid-Peninsula has experienced tremendous growth and has recently converted to MRI enterprise software to provide sustainable support for continued growth.



Position Requirements:

?????? Prepare monthly financial statements with complete supporting schedules

?????? Maintain fixed assets sub-ledger and book monthly deprecation entry

?????? Provide monthly variance reports for assigned portfolio of properties

?????? Support annual audit process for assigned portfolio of properties

?????? Perform intercompany account reconciliations

?????? Assist in special projects and financial analysis as assigned

?????? Familiarity with or ability to understand application of US-GAAP



Educational Requirements:

?????? Bachelor??????s degree in Accounting with 2+ years of general accounting experience



Qualifications:

?????? Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Word required

?????? MRI software experience a plus

?????? CPA-hopefuls a plus

?????? Must be highly detail-oriented and organized

?????? Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

?????? Ability to multi-task and work independently
