ProtoStar is an emerging satellite company that is developing a network of high-power satellites across the Asia-Pacific Region. The company is San Francisco-based and has a regional office in Singapore. This is an excellent chance to get in on the ground floor of an exciting growth company.



ProtoStar is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to perform the following:



* Prepare and maintain financial projections, which include capital expenditure, operating cost and capital structure assumptions

* Assist in writing project proposals, business plans, and offering memoranda

* Perform complex and ad hoc financial analyses

* Support controller in preparing company-wide budgets and operating plans

* Development and preparation of operational reporting metrics





Qualifications include:



* BS Degree in Finance, Accounting or General Business. MBA preferred

* 3-6 years of experience in accounting, financial planning, financial analysis and business management

Satellite, telecommunications or infrastructure experience preferred

* Knowledge of finance theory, accounting fundamentals and proficiency in business modeling

* Advanced expertise in MS Excel a must; knowledge of Excel macros and visual basic a plus

* Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and ERP accounting systems a plus

* Strong verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to interact well with executive management and peers

* Self-directed team player who is a quick study, flexible, problem solver and detail oriented

* Willing to work extended hours and/or travel as needed
