Choosedirect.com is a vertically integrated e-commerce company. We bring factory direct products to customers throughout North America. Our current product lines include hot tubs (we contract for the manufacturing and manage the importing, marketing, and distribution throughout North America), outdoor kitchen hardware and islands, and swim spas. We are in the process of launching several more web stores. Choosedirect.com is a start up, in business for a little over a year, and we are growing quickly. The right candidate for this position is a tireless worker, fast learner, proficient in HTML, with a yen to learn SEO, SEM, and the nuts and bolts of e-commerce. Our focus is on identifying niches that we can dominate by implementing a e-commerce based factory to consumer direct model to bear on what is traditionally a showroom based retail system. The candidate that fills this position will assist the SEO/ marketing department in website optimization, link development, and social network marketing. A basic understanding of HTML is required, training in SEO and SEM will be provided along with experience "in the trenches" building a dominant position in search engines for our current and future web stores. We are currently #1 in Google for most of our keywords like outdoor kitchen, and we will be teaching this intern intern how to replicate that success.
