We are a group of five ex-Stanford students looking for a sixth person to join our mini-coop. The house is half and half vegetarians and omnivores, and we try to cook regular dinners as a house and expect to share chores and stuff. The house is pretty laid back, but we keep it reasonably clean. We try hard to keep the kitchen is fully stocked. We're really conveniently located (an easy bike ride, for instance) to Stanford, downtown Palo Alto, and the 101.

The open room in the house is a little unusual--it was originally a very large bedroom with two closets, but it's been divided in half with an L-shaped wall, and so it's sort of like a two-room double. You would share sound space but no sight line with one female roommate. Imagine a two room double with a curtain instead of a door in the wall. Because of the shape of the wall, you don't have to walk through one half to get to the other, so there's no tramping through the outer room if you come in late. The room is furnished, but wouldn't have to be--the house has a big garage and anything you didn't want could be moved out. As it is right now, it has a twin bed and a nice dresser, as well as some other drawers and a full-size closet.
