I'm a recent Stanford grad (MA, 2002; PhD, 2003) and now a new Stanford professor. I have a new, spacious home and I'm looking to rent out one of the rooms. The room is newly painted, new carpet, and can come furnished with a folding futon, dresser, small desk, lamp, and a closet. (can be unfurnished upon request; if furnished, it's $650/mo)

The house is right off of University Ave, close to campus (a 20-minutes bike ride away for the green-conscious, or a short drive up University for the rest of us! :-) ) and walking distance to IKEA, Home Depot, Starbucks, a huge new supermarket, and tons of restaurants and cafes in downtown. It has wireless, cable TV, all that good stuff -- in addition to your own room and bathroom, you would have use of the rest of the house, kitchen, family room, laundry, backyard patio, garage, etc.
