The house is conveniently located in a quiet area, 10 minutes by bike from Stanford, Caltrain, Trader Joe's and it's a 5 minute drive to the 280. There is a large common area that includes the kitchen, laundry room, dining room and living room. The room for rent is quite large and has a sliding glass door onto the back patio as well as an enormous closet. There are three bathrooms in all, one (not shared) upstairs and two (shared) downstairs. The downstairs bathrooms are generally split so that there is one female bathroom and another male. The backyard is equipped with a pool, a hot tub, and a BBQ.

The house is shared with four other people (3 M, 1 F) in their late 20's/early 30's, all students or professionals. We are looking to maintain the gender balance and so would prefer a female. Although we all have busy lives of our own, many of us traveling frequently, the atmosphere is social and we all get along. We share the cleaning duties on a bi-weekly schedule. We're from various parts of the world including New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland and China.
