There are 2 nice-sized rooms in our 4-bedroom house that will be available in April. We are looking for 1 or 2 other female roommates. We keep the house tidy and, except for your room, it's fully furnished. Of course, if you have dishes or other things you want to contribute to the use of the house that's fine. If you are curious about the other 2 roommates already in the house: we are both female, went to grad school (one of us attended Stanford), and are working professionals. We are looking to fill the spot(s) with either a grad student or a working professional.
Here's some information about the house.
* Spacious 2-story, 4-bedroom house, 2.5 bathrooms. 9' ceilings, crown molding, and LOTS of natural light.
* Hardwood floors (first floor) and carpet (second floor). Furnished living room (with piano), family room, and dining room
* The kitchen is huge and opens up into the family room.
* Patio and gas grill for bar-b-ques. Outdoor teak furniture. Jasmine, hydrangea, roses and gardenias bloom in the summer.
* Storage in the garage, ample street parking, and quick access to 101
* $715 month (plus utilities). Washer/dryer.

The house is actually in East Palo Alto in a new neighborhood right behind Home Depot (so you don't have to drive into the heart of EPA). There are about 150 homes in this new development. Our neighbors are either single people renting houses, young families, and working professionals. We are listing this under "Palo Alto" as well as most of the Stanford students would be looking at that city. I've lived here for several years and have loved it. So close to 101 and about 10 minutes (down Embarcadero or University) from Stanford University.
