Looking to rent a house, apartment or room starting in September 2010. Or looking for a roommate who is still searching for a place
to stay. Must be located within 3-4 miles from the Stanford University campus.

I'm posting this ad because I won't be arriving on campus until September 1st and would have difficulty finding an apartment on my own.

I am an incoming female Ph.D. geophysics student at Stanford with guaranteed funding from the department for the 2010-2011 school year.

I am a very quiet person, organized and responsible. I would be willing to take a share of household chores. I am sociable and friendly.

One requirement that I have is that I need housing that allows cats; and of course I can't room with someone who is allergic to cats. I have a
well-behaved neutered cat (he won a world championship).
