$675 & $625--Nice Rooms for Rent in a Shared Large House

The house is very bright and spacious, and is most conveniently located 2 blocks east of 101, near IKEA (in the 101 Mall), just off University Avenue. The huge yard encompasses a variety of plants and roses, and ample & safe parking space. It takes 10 minutes to get to Stanford University, and to the Mountain View Price Club (CostCo).

The bus route 281 (right on University Avenue) will take you to Palo Alto train station (in 12 minutes) where you can take Stanford free shuttle to campus via Marguerite A, B clockwise, and B counter-clockwise.

The spacious living room, SONY XBR LCD TV with Comcast cable connection, kitchen, washer and dryer are all shared, and there is also high speed Internet access (Camcast Cable) in each room.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which one is available for rent starting July 1, 2010 for $675 and $625, respectively (utilities included). Each room is furnished with good furniture, including a 32" SONY XBR LCD TV. The other room is occupied by a Stanford alumnus. The house has a nice atmosphere of learning and there is a mini in-house book collection.

The ideal renting period is one year. Short-term rental (4 month minimum) may also be considered. References, a contract and deposits are required. Deposits include last month rent and a $250 fully refundable cleaning and security deposit.

Smoking is NOT allowed in the house. Pets are NOT allowed in the house.

An ideal housemate is one who is willing to share the basic cleaning of common area on a weekly basis.
